"Atonement can take many forms... A heartfelt apology, a grand gesture, a silent prayer, or something more complex, more gray, more difficult to decipher.
And while it's true that no amount of atonement can ever change the past, it does have the power to heal us, to restore relationships and connections we thought were lost forever."

Those words were from the show called "Forever", said by oh-so-handsome Henry. I couldn't agree any more with Henry, such beauty and truth in these words. I have committed mistakes before in life too, and I genuinely felt apologetic. It's hard to say, but I confess in my prayers with all hopes that the people affected would understand. No grand gesture is needed, for no amount of atonement can ever change the past.

For some of the lucky ones, we managed to restore our relationship with them . As for the rest of us, we are still waiting.
