One Day in LASALLE…

As Joel shared with me about his time spent in LASALLE, I can’t help but feel jealous that he had so much fun in the school! Who ever knew that one can have so much joy and excitement in classes…

Joel spent his morning with his seniors (the year 1 Musical Theatre students) in their Acting and Movement class. The class aims to help students better understand body movements, and how to take care of their speaking voice as an actor. The class was conducted by Mary Ann Tear, one of the most experienced and respected Movement/Dance teachers in Singapore!

Joel revealed to me that he had lots of fun in the class, improvising on the spot. They had to present a story in a series of 3 consecutive “tabloid shots” in which they froze in various amusing positions! As the class size was small (about 9 of them), Joel told me that he had a good time getting to know his seniors who came from all over the world and were all so open and friendly!

Another 4 more prospective students were also selected and given the special one-day “LASALLE pass”! Joel told me that they were all treated like VIPs by the school, and he felt like he was at home!

Look at what is inside the goodie bag that Joel received!! You can sure tell how much the school cares for the welfare of their students by looking at what is given in the goodie bag! Lots of food, snacks, and drinks to make sure that you won’t go hungry or thirsty!

Doesn’t LASALLE look even lovelier at night? Check out my next post as I will share more with you about LASALLE!
