Ted Movie Review

I have been so busy, busy, busy lately. That's why I didn't have the time to blog! Sheesh, finally took a breather and caught a movie over the last weekend. I have heard so many people saying that TED is a good movie,so I decided on that after a full day of studying.

"Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish...and has refused to leave his side ever since." -- (C) Universal

I would give this movie a 3 against 5 star rating. The plot is somewhat predictable, only refreshing when Ted speaks. It's so vulgar! Having a penchant for booze, drugs and women,Ted speaks with a foul mouth.

John Bennett, played by Mark Wahlberg, had no friends when he was a kid. Chancing upon a wishing star,he made a wish that his bear could talk to him. It came true the next morning, giving his parents a scare but later accepted as one of their family member. They grew up as best friends and fast forward 27 years later, John is in a serious relationship with his girlfriend Lori (Mila Kunis). She couldn't stand Ted coming into their relationship all the time and had John to make a decision between the two of them.

Along those lines came creepy stalker (played by Giovanni Ribisi) with his son. This 'Ted-napping' put a test to their friendship and a test of real love between John and Lori.

I would say it's a not-bad movie to watch. It's a vulgar-comedy made that can't be compared to other action movies like Expendables 2 or The Bourne Legacy.
