Dancing in the wind, round and round

Warning, this is a post of narcissism.

I'm turning,I'm spinning,
I'm twirling round and round.

I am feeling dizzy as I fall down laughing in happiness.
The wind made a mess of my hair but it doesn't matter.
For I feel blissful.

I just got back to Singapore,I'm jetlagging. Give me a break before I start posting in a few days time. Thanks and love you loads, readers.

Swear at her and getting away with it. TEEHEE!

The advantages of being in a foreign land is that, people don't understand you when you are not speaking in the native tongue. Which means... You can scold them in dialect vulgarities!

On Sunday,I came back with 2 more bags of shopping. I struggled to hold them and as I was queuing at the counter, some bitch just came over and stood beside me. I just say to her that I was here first, there's a queue behind. She just looked at me,but who cares? I'm on my ipod and not about to listen to what she says.

As the guy in front of us moves off,it's MY turn. All the while nudging me out of the queue,I gave her more than just a nudge so that she would go away. Hello? I'm not being mean. It just doesn't mean that I'm an Asian in your country, you can just come and stand beside me or push me off the queue.

Anyway,she exclaimed:
Lady,you should learn some manners!

Probably in her upbringing,to say that is being extremely mean already.
But hey,in my society, being mean is roll my eyes and reply her with:

CCB.

Could have flick my finger at her,but that's a finger that everyone recognises it internationally.

Her reaction:
:O?
Mouth opened but don't understand at what I'm talking about. There you go,bitch.
If only she knew that I just called her a smelly cunt. CCB = Chou ji bai in Hokkien dialect.
TEEHEE!
Again, like I say: I don't see the need to be nice to someone who think they can cut my queue and try to nudge me off the queue then exclaiming that I should learn some manners. Don't challenge laoniang to who can be ruder.

Confessions

Morning!

I'm now lying on my bed,I just went down to get a can of coke and paid for the wifi. Its 2.30am here in Paris and I'm really tired. But I seriously need to rant and make myself feel alive on the internet world, yet I don't wanna flood the twitter timeline,so I guess I'll just do it here instead.

Lemme confess,I'm fucking scared being alone in the hotel room! The corridoor needed a switch to turn on the lights cause it'll auto off by itself. Which means the whole place is damn dark when I'm alone and just came back. Sheesh, scare die me T_T I even called home to my mom and tell her about it,and she told me some ways to calm myself down. Which I followed and it did help a bit.

Left the tv,all the lights and curtains apart before going to sleep.

Alright. I shall sleep now. Everyone, please pray for my safety and I shall love you very very much.

Le Sigh,france trip's troubles!

Boujour!
I'm in Paris now,yet to visit the Eiffel Tower but have already visted the Notre-Dame Cathedral. I bought myself a 3 day pass for 20 euoros, gonna make full use of it. Should I even visit Disneyland?

Anyways, trouble on the way to and in france.

The bus that I gei kiang (act smart) thinking I could follow the super small map on my guide book,I alighted earlier than I was suppose to and ended up lost. So I walked to the nearest bus stop with a direct bus to St Pancras International station. The sky was so bright that I suspect the bus will not be able to take me to the station on time. Luckily,it did. Train supposingly to leave at 5.25am but I reached at 5.10am. Can you blame me for panicking? My train ticket cost me 300!

Self check-in > run > last call for departing train > Reached!

And in Paris,I walked a couple of hours looking for a international charger. Because my mom nagged my until I forgot to bring the original charger. And when I plugged into the international charger, you know what happen? The Nikon battery
EXPLODED.
Prolly because of different socket or something. What a nightmare seeing it explode.
Don't ask how much,in any case,I spend a lot of money replacing the battery and another charger. Fantastic.

Anyways,I've been to the Notre-Dame Cathedral today,it drizzled! Unpredictable weather. Its quite beautiful, and I got a coin as memorabilia. I'm not going to the get the coin for anyone, you just have to come and see for yourself and get this token inside then cathedral.

Trip to Staffordshire,beautiful clouds

It was a wonderful, wonderful experience to step into Manchester Airport.
You can never imagine how I kept smiling to myself whenever I see angmo walking by. I kept screaming in my heart: I'M IN MANCHESTER!

The whole series of picture should be able to explain how my trip was like:
It's really wonderful to eat breakfast on board and watch how the sun rose, brilliant colours!

And higher the sun went.
Strangely,as we go down to Doha airport, the sun had changed to cream colour. It's like the moon in the day time. I was not allowed to take a photo though, and the A&W rootbeer in the terminal cost me $9. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it cost that much.

Looking fairly excited as I embark on the second flight.
Until I realise that I was going to sit next to a cheena who's elbows kept poking mine
AND
the screen was so pixelated and lagged until I couldn't watch anything.
By the way, their songs are like from the 80s or 90s,forget about listening to it.

On the train to Stafford.

The amazing thing about the train is that it's so smooth, feels like the whole tracked has been well-oiled. So unlike our MRT. Along the way,I saw many nice (yes,England style) houses. Though some were old with paint peeling, the rest were quite pretty.

It really is quite a sight to watch the green plains zoom past and the cows grazing the grass. Oh yes, there were sheeps too,and not to forget the beautiful flowers along the side of the tracks or on the plains itself. Tiny white flowers, tall yellow and white flowers, like poppies!
It is quite an experience, can't be compared to the busy life-style of Singaporeans. Most of Singapore lands is covered by tall HDB and government-planted flowers. I bet if you pluck them, you'll get fined.

Presenting to you,da Sugarbombs!

Before I left,Gin and I was invited by June to attend Benefit Workshop.
Benefit as I last remembered while shopping with my best friend in the early years of my secondary school life, has always been a candy store kind of atmosphere: sweet, young and intricate.
Benefit was set up by Jean and Jane, who are twins living in San Francisco.

Upon reaching, there were other beauty bloggers who were already there savoring the delicious bite-size desserts prepared by Benefit! Also, there was orange juice. Mmm,healthy!

And we began by looking at a brief introduction to Benefit. After which Joyce was the make up model for the day,Trainer Angela showed us how and where to apply the make up.

Half of the face with make up,can you guess which side?

At the end of the make up session,we were all given a gift bah.

WAIT!

This isn't a typical workshop,it's not the end!
Daphne greeted us with cupcakes and icing, which was a pleasant surprise. As Benefit has a candy store atmosphere,we were all given cupcakes to decorate!

I'm da sugarbomb!
BOOMZA!

Here's June and I!
I think we look awesome in these aprons. Can we bring home pwease?

Another beauty blogger,Clara aka dblchin, heard that she's one of Weijie's friends.
And she's decorating her cupcake too!

June's cupcake

My cupcake.
Mdm Dewi, are we going to do pastries soon? I wanna make yummy cupcakes!

Gin! She came slightly later than us.

Clara,me,June,Daphne
I think everyone was so fantastic and friendly,it is a wonderful experience to join the workshop.
Once again, thank you June for inviting me to the workshop!

I'm heading to Manchester and to the rest UK!

Hello people!

It's late-night post,I know. I'm going to UK! Don't be jealous, heh. It's not a last-minute decision,it has been decided like 3 weeks ago when I couldn't go to Australia. So hence,I diverted my attention to UK,Stafford. Familiar to the bloggers? Yes,Isaac's over there. He's gonna make me clean up his room, cook and wash show me around!

For a start,it's booking the flight. I realized that you can book the flight at any time,at any days. The fare isn't different whether is it nearer or further to the date of departure, unlike budget airline.

There was a lot of trouble booking my flight.
For a start,I don't have a credit card. I had to ask a friend if he could book for me and in the end,he couldn't as the cardholder must be one of the travelers! I was really irritated by this stupid rule but on second thought, without this rule people could cheat others money. I nearly went down to the airport to book the flight but was saved by the lady at the bank. Haha! What a way to say it,but yes. She told my mother about the POSB GO! card.
You know, what we kids nowadays holds this card. Which can do nuts for online shopping or transaction. But now,I can haz thiz card:
Tadah! Damn black, slick and chio right? I thought of putting "Idreamtobreakaway"
But it'll be stupid if I lost it and people don't believe that the card belong to me right? So yupe,my real name stays on the card.

Second thing regarding the flight. It has sooooooooooooooooooooooooo many meals you can choose on board! I don't know it's due to my lack of knowledge regarding airlines because:
Korean air - Only have 2 choice of meals + ice cream
Budget airlines - Pay for your food (which I don't buy anything at all)
China Eastern Airlines - I cannot remember. Either they don't serve,or you have to buy too. I don't remember having any meals on board. Plus they don't even have a freaking pen to lend.

Look at the menu, what would you have chose?

How bland could the meals have been?
Does Hindu Meal consist of all meat since it's non Vegetarian(sounds good,no veggies for me)?
Does low calorie meal = no energy meal?
Gluten-free meal similar to Low Fat,Low cholesterol meal?
But in the end,I just chose a low-fat meal. I just don't think the rest looked very appealing.

And after I landed at Manchester Airport,I still need a train to Stafford right?
Here goes!
Choose 16-25 Railcard as it's for youth, like me!
Some of you who wish to travel may wanna know the price for the overall trip. I'm not sure at which time of the year that you want to go at,but it's estimated at:

Qatar Airlines - $1,607.20 (Semi-restricted)
Making the Card - Free
Train - $14.15 x $2.07 ~ $30 (Single way)
Expenses - Own target,I brought very little. Most to most, maggie mee lah
----------------------------------------------------------------
Already spent $1637.20

You may realize it already. Or you may have yet to realize it.

Worms that can makes you skinny.

Being bored over the holidays,I became nocturnal.
Which means when everyone is sleeping,I'm awake. And then,I'm sleeping when everyone is awake. What can I do online? Google la,it's everyone's best friend. Anything and everything is on google. I will just google anything that comes into mind. And this thing I learn from F&N,

TAPEWORMS!

You guys heard of it right?
I will just give a short summary from wikipedia, the rest you should just head over and read it yourself.
Live tapeworm larvae (coenuri) are sometimes ingested by consuming undercooked food.
So,don't undercook your food ah. And tapeworm sound very normal right? Even if is me,I won't go and imagine how does it look like. Probably small and wriggly what, right?

Tapeworm.
Tapeworm.

Another cake for belated birthday.

Last Sunday,I was feeling bored so I rang up Cheryl and Si Hui to ask if they wanna meet. I wanted to ask them out to have lunch, but Si Hui need to do her blogshop stuffs so we went over to her place instead.

Called them down to Cold Storage upon reaching to grab some tidbits and enjoy movie marathon at her place. And they announced that they're going to make me a cake at The Icing Room! Woah, belated birthday cake. Awww...

CHIO HOR!
Wah,thank goodness. I remember the days when we sat in class during boring lessons doodling on our textbooks. Isn't it pretty? Also,Si Hui is a D&T design student mah...

BOO!
What is this?
The cake they draw for me lah! You really think they draw until so nice meh? :p Cheryl still can happily hold on to the icing and tell me: You're only allowed to watch,no more than that!
The above is only what I googled on the internet la. Sheesh, they happily told me there's pimples on the face, here's a yellow dot on the forehead ,there's a circle of shit with pee in the middle etc.

And we brought it back to her house, ate the cake and watched New Moon.
Dragging, obscene and wrong morals. Argh. I wouldn't have understood the movie without Cheryl beside explaining to me about what's going on. Sheesh.
